PRA’s state‐of‐the‐art early phase research facilities in The Netherlands have a total capacity of 140 beds divided between two Clinical Research Units (CRUs) co-located with the Martini Hospital and University Medical Center, Groningen (UMCG), together they represent one of the largest Phase I/IIa CRUs in Europe and benefit from direct access to an Intensive Care Unit via an indoor link, 24/7/365 emergency support, neuroimaging, PET center, state-of-the-art GMP pharmacy and a fully automated central lab. PRA employees here are experts in CNS (including pain), HCV and infectious and metabolic diseases.
